Ahh, all those clues, and it was that final one we needed. You are in the market for a new starter. My recommendation is to see a local rebuilder who knows Bosch as opposed to getting an Autozone or other reman-in-a-box replacement. Actually, if you have a boneyard to raid, you'd be better off with a used one than any of those you can find in the chain places.

No start inhibit in a manual, but you were past that point anyway.
