Kenwood Radio/CD wiring Harness adapter 700 1990

Hi,

I want to put a Kenwood Radio/CD in my 1990 760 with 6 speaker system.
Here in the UK it has proven to be very difficult to find the right harness adapter.

Instead of the normal 2 multi plugs in a 6 speaker system, my car sports one multi plug and a 6 pin DIN plug (which I suspect is the pre-amp feed to the amp.

Has any one got any ideas about this, or indeed where I could get the right harness adapter from?

I have toiled with the idea to build a bypass harness to cut out the amp all together. However that would be quite a job.
