Hi there, although I have no direct expereince of this conversion, and others will no doubt have more, I have heard that the standard turn signal switch is not suitable for this because of reliability/strength issues. I certainly know that every Amazon I have owned has had issues with the switch (not cancelling etc). I would stick around until a decent overdrive switch comes around.
