Points to Pertronix questions 140-160

You must index the Pertronix trigger to co-incide with the rotor to cap terminal alignment. If you don't, a spark can occur when the rotor and terminal are not aligned, and that's not good.
I am not a fan of Pertronix, and have known too many people let down by that system. The only one I have ever used, and even then under duress, is the Crane Fireball system.
The Bosch stock electronic system from FI B21's is far better, and incredibly reliable.
