I'd look real close at the coil wire. It has to fire 4x as much as the other wires, and it's more prone to damage from movement, flexing, rubbing against other crap.

Look at it where it contacts the power steering pump, the master cylinder and brake lines, and any brackets or other wires near the coil.

My guess is there will be abrasion damage on the coil wire somewhere.

Either that or the plugs are REALLY REALLY shot, and covered in carbon all down their sides. For that matter, excessive dirt buildup on top of the coil itself can do this. Wipe all that black greasy gunk off of there!
