Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for the Bosch unit in the PnP.

I didn't touch the dist during installation. Only after install when timing found at 30 and instructions said to adjust.

When I found timing way off, I figured it was because of the altered dwell. Doubled checked timing belt (pulled cover and checked positions at TDC). Strange thing is that at TDC, center nick on rotor lines up with nick on distributor lip even though timing reads about 21 degrees when engine running (thought it would read close to 0 degrees). Probably because of dwell influence?

Guess I'll be contacting Pertronix for their explanation.
