Bad ignition coil 900 1996

In the last three months or so, the 960 (110000 miles) shaked constantly above 50 miles an hour. I took it to a tire shop to rebalance the tires and checked the mount and suspension but with no help. Two days ago, on my way home the car tumbled and triggered the check engine light. My OBDII scanner showed P0304, "#4 cylinder misfire". After I changed out the ignition coil, the car runs as smooth as it was before. The Bosch ignition coil looked robust. I wondered if it was the Bosch +4 spark plugs that resulted in the failure. Could the performance plugs generate extra load for the coil and the power stage?
