Help - trying to fine tune idle & tps

1985 245 Non-turbo

I know, I'm being anal... but If I rev it and then let off the gas, RPM's will dip too low for half a second before stabilizing.

I've already spent too much time cleaning, testing, adjusting, readjusting everything in and around the intake system to get it to idle as good as it is now, so instead of removing the throttle body and starting from scratch I'd like to find out the exact adjustment (direction) I need to make to either the linkage or the TPS to perfect the idle. I ain't removin' the throttle body again!

So it's a fractional adjustment of one of these I think: turn TPS right; turn TPS left; shorten linkage; lengthen linkage. Right? Which one?

Thanks!

note: Ive already done TPS adjustments according to Bentley, set base idle (no tac though)
