Hit a dip in the road now the 240 has very eratic RPMs and power...bumps make it worse 200 1991

Hi, My 91 240 auto sedan has been running like new until 3 weeks ago when I was going quickly down the road that had a dip in it. As soon as I got past the dip, now starting up a hill, the engine cut out. I was able to get onto a side street and, and after many attemps to start it, finally it turned over and chugged home.

After fixing alot of stuff that wasnt needed (basic tune up) I founf out about the OBD and it gave me the code for an AMM. I got one from Ebay (I know...) and things seemed better. But then it started again, engine starts and runs well, I hit any sorta bump and the RPM's go from 3000 down to 0 then will shoot back up then bounce around. Sooner or later it will run fine again until another bump. Or it will just stall if its under load at all.

So as Im searching for a cure, I learned about the ignition test on the OBD and that came up with 2-1-4.

This morning the sitaution just went down hill. I couldnt drive over 1500 RPM, then it stalled, wouldnt start. 30 minutes later, it weakly started, and as long as I didint hit any dumps (and I mean any deviation in the road surface) I was able to go 40 MPH and limped home.

It seems that if I can get moving and keep the RPMs about 1500 (usually!), if the tach starts getting bouncy and the power is weak, if I keep my foot on the gas, it will come back to life.

When I got home, the OBD read 1-1-1 in #2 and 2-1-4 in #6.

and lastly, how can I determine my LH type?

Many thanks!
