tell me about your idle....... 200 1979

spcifically, your idle after cold starts. i want to know what a "normal" bosch f.i. system on a B21/23 does on cold starts. does it rev a little higher than the normal warm idle speed until its warmed up? or do the RPM's stay the same as warm idle? after throwing in a new CPR (or WUR whatever) my car starts fine and idles smooth cold now but the RPM does not change at all from the warm idle speed. is this normal? i know the CPR is limiting the return feed to the fuel tank, thus richening the mixture for the engine, but shouldn't the engine run at least a little faster too? my car has never really ran normally since ive owned it and it occured to me that i have no idea what its supposed to sound like when cold. i remember my old tercel (dont laugh) ran at about 2500 RPM for at least a couple minutes until the engine was warm. not to compare that POS to my gt flat hood, but i would like to know if something's wrong. thanks for any help.
