tires - snows or all season? 200

hello,

i've been thinking about getting some new tires for my 1990 240...right now i've got two all seasons on the front and two snows on the rear...not the best combo i know, but my other two rears are mismatched (two different brands) so i thought 2 identical snows would be better.

anyway, i'm considering getting a new set of 4, but am wondering if i should get a set of snows - i live outside of toronto which ='s winter driving conditions.

safety-wise, especially being a RWD, i know a set of snows would be best for winter with another set of 4 for the spring/summer/fall...budget-wise, i'd prefer a good all season if i could get away with it.

so, i guess what i'm asking is is a set of snows worth the additional expense? also, does anyone know good brands of either -all season or snows, to suit a 240?

cheers,

90
