Driver's door difficult to close 700 1989

Hi everyone

Of late I have to use significantly more force to get the driver's door to close properly. With the other doors it'll shut tight on first push. But with the driver's door the door latch will latch but it won't close fully so I have to really give it a good push.

I've tried lubricating the door latch and the striker with no success. Could the latch needs readjustment over the years? Or does it need to be disassembled and the internals cleaned and regreased? Thanks
