Ox Sensor 200

Hello,

Has anyone on the board changed the single wire Ox sensor to a heated model. My 82 K-jet (CIS) has a single wire unit and it takes a while for the Ox sensor to get into the heat range it needs to work. The ECU controls the system until engine warm up, but the sensor lags behind because its not in the proper temperature range. This causes the engine to run rich during that time frame. I think a heated unit would prevent this issue and save me some gas on the many short trips I take. I have changed the Ox unit with same results. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Mario
