Stainless Steel Flex Lines 700 1986

I've got to replace all the brake hoses and was thinking of going with the braided stainless steel lines.

I know they are better for racing, but for regular street use are they really worth the price? They are about double of the standard rubber hoses, $150 vs. $75. I wonder because the original rubber hoses have lasted 20 years and I would be surprised if the stainless ones will outlast that.

Come to think of it, 20 years may outlast me! Maybe I'm just being cheap.
