Lack of power after overheat 200 1992

I had my 92 240 overheat due to a blown heater hose. Lost lots of coolant and had a massive overheat because my coolant temp gauge is broken. I replaced the hose, but ever since that incident it seems like the car has no power.

If the car is in park or neutral I can rev the engine to high RPMs and it is fine, but if I were in drive and at a stop sign, then pressed the gas to the floor, the engine will flood and stall out. This has happened on several occasions and I can't start it until it has sat for a couple hours.

In the coolant resivoir, I have dirty looking gassy/oily smelling film. The car idles rough.

I replaced the spark plugs and it changed nothing.
