New Windshield: How To re-install The Chrome Trim 200

Hi folks

I got a shiny new windshield for my 89 245. Hand it done at my indie mechanic's place as he got a much better deal pricewise than if I had gone straight to a glass shop. I asked to have the chrome trim saved, which they did, and so there it sits in the back seat in really great shape.

Now both of my 240s now have replacement windshields. Neither has the chrome trim presently and only one can have this piece. So two questions: 1) In your opinion, would it look better on a sedan (navy blue) or wagon (burgundy), and 2) Which adhesive would you use for mounting? Question #2 being a little more critical here.

Thanks as always / Jim
