Volvo 240.. 1988 SERVICE LIGHT COMES ON 200 1988

Ok, average day.. but i have been a bit hard on my volvo today
today she finally gave out and after filling my tank at shell with 91..
the service light comes on.. i try to turn it on by smacking the light
but nothing worked then i stopped at the red light and it goes off..
any ideas?

my idea is.. either it doesnt like the 91 octane (but it has burned it before) or.. its time for some maintence or.. something is wrong with the calipers.. (heard noises) or something completely different
PLEASE tell me..
im having such a pleasing time with it.. but it seems to poke problems when im not ready for them..

thanks for ur help
