Rusted gas line... need suggestions 200 1988

My 240 wagon sprung a gas leak a couple nights ago, and after further inspection, it turns out it has rusted through on the top of the line. [There is a constant dripping.. with almost no delay between drips] I am looking for an easy way to fix this... but when I thought about sawing through the line to put a rubber hose over it with hose clamps.. I was first, nervous to saw through a gas line, i.e., sparks. And, I wasn't sure if that's a good fix for this or not. The rusted spot is in an awkward place kind of, right near a clamp sort of thing under the driver's side back seat. Any ideas as to the best way to take care of this problem? I just filled up the tank the other night, too. :(
