noisy valve lifter-s 900 1996

Gentlemen, after a lost timingbelt I rebuilt the engine of my 960. The engine works well, however I have 1 or 2 noisy valve lifter/s. After examining the hydraulic lifter, the cylindrical piece under the camshaft, I found that the cylinder has a disc at the top of it, which can be exchanged, I did not find any hydraulic parts. I think that I have a noisy lifter because the disc is not thick enough, i.e. the valveclearance is to big. I do not know how much the clearance shall be between the camshaft and the cylinder, could someone help me. Am I on the right track, I am an electrical guy.... Thanks Gabriel
