Reset check engine light on 960? 900

Murph,

Removing the negative cable from the battery for a few minutes should reset the light. Since you have a 93 that shouldn't cause any problems. 96 and later with OBD II will lose the readiness monitor settings when the battery is disconnected and will require a whole lot of "drive trace" driving to reset the I/M monitors. On the 93 removing the cable should shut off the MIL without any bad side effects. Yes as Poolman pointed out, do have the radio security code handy or you won't be able to get that back on line.
