OK - I am very satisfied with the way she's running when warm, good power, acceptable idle. But there is one mildly irritating thing going on that I'd like to resolve... The problem is that cold starting is difficult. It will start right up when cold, but will stall a time or two before the engine warms up. Rough idle during this time as well.
Here's what I find to be the most interesting part... I've got two AMM's (007's). With one of them, I'll call it the "good" one. I get very good idle, and smooth running -- when warm. However, it has the cold start problem. With the "bad" AMM, I get very smooth high-idle starts, but the car runs rich as hell after it's warmed up --- black exhaust, sputtering, etc. Here are the results after testing with my cheap wally world multimeter (reference numbers from Bentley:

Good AMM: Heated Wire - 3.1 ohms (reference is 3.5 to 4.0); Potentiometer - 323 ohms (reference is 0-1000)
Bad AMM: Heated Wire - 3.0; Potentiometer 282
Ugly AMM: In a landfill somewhere
Of course I'd like to get advice on the cold start problem, and how it might relate to the AMM(s)???
