I'm running out of ideas and thought someone could offer some suggestions.
My 240 turbo (B21FT Intercooled)has been exhibiting a miss under high boost conditions. Here's what it can't be:
Overboost (bypassed)
Ignition (coil and ignition module replaced with known good, used)
When cold, I can get 12 psi befors the miss starts. It comes and goes if I keep my foot into the throttle. When the engine has been driven for a while, the miss occurs at lower boost levels.
It's not rpm related since, if I keep out of the boost, I can get to any reasonable engine speed. The car will cruise at any legal speed and then some.
I'm thinking a) fuel Filter, b) Main pump c) In tank pump. Both pumps have been replaced within the past 5K miles although the main pump is making an interesting buzz.
Other mods include: MBC, ipd cam, adjustable cam gear (set straight up), Term 11 mod and 3" turbo back exhaust (cat has been removed for "testing" purposes. The miss is not as regular as something like a misfiring plug and I can actually continue to build boost if I stay in it.
Thoughts?
Thanks
