What the heck is this? 200

Came out of my '82. I'm guessing it's the doo-dad (technical term) that trips the Lamda light, yes?

If that's all it does, do I need it??

I've got a friend who's taking "Ol' Crusty Rusty" off my hands, so I'm going to be burying myself in K-jet manuals again until I figure out what the hell went wrong to cause the car to stumble on acceleration.

And while putting the gauge cluster back in I said to myself, "...got a car that's mine alone, that me and the finance company own, a ready-made pile of manufactured grief. And if I ain't outta gas in the pourin' rain, I'm changin' a flat in a hurri..." no wait, that was Jerry Reed on the stereo. What I said was, "You know, this thinga-majig here (technical term, again) seems to do nothing but cause a little light to come on when you're supposed to change the O2 sensor, so why do I want it here???"

Leave it out?
