Terrible acceleration from stop - 91 940 Turbo 900 1991

When I accelerating from a stop the car crawls, but after it gets to about 10 mph everything seems fine. It doesn't have any problems accelerating on the highway, the acceleration doesn't jolt, it starts and idles fine. Further, the lagging gets worse the harder I push on the pedal.

This problem kind of crept up on me gradually as I have been driving this car exclusively for a long time. It wasn't till I got in my mom's 4 cyl Mazda and thought, "hey this thing gets off the line pretty well", that I knew I had a big problem.
