240 Front End Tools Required 200 1986

Need to seek wisdom and Guidance from the BB, or the force what ever works.

Hold my coat boys I'm going in, with the help of buddy into Inga's (Semifaithful 1986 245DL) Front end. Thanks to quidance from the BB, used the perscribed Tie rod test and it is tie rod and ball joint time on the drivers side of the car. Have new Poly bushings sitting at the Europarts house and will order the Tie rod and ball joint tomorrow. Only have the replace the ball joint and tie rod on one side the other was replaced two years ago (long story paid a pro). But since those bushings are rubber, that side goes poly also if there is enough time.

Need your help with tooling required and any tricks and tips. My buddy does not have any large metric tools his stuff is for Mack and Ford's, he does have the ball joint remover.

What size wrenches and other tools will be required for this job. My racket set goes every size to 20 mm, along with a 22 and 25 mm deep 6 pt socket. Only have a 25 MM open end and box end wrench combo in the large size. The next closest wrench is 15 mm. Do not want to have to run and get a lot of tools when the jobs starts, see reference to a strap when in the Hayes Manual but no bolt sizes. So what tools are required "normally" to do this job? Have not decided it I am ready to do the struts yet, do not have a spring compressor, but they do rent those at a couple of places nearby. Would you try this at home also? (The struts that is)

Thanks in advance for your help.

PS: new can of PB Blaster is ready and will put Inga up on blocks Friday night and start hitting bolts the night before.
