Interchanging Regina fuel pump with a Bosch/Walbro 255lph pump 700 1991

I am very curious as to will the Regina system work reliably with a Bosch pump? In my place where I live, it might be hard to get a Regina pump.I might have to resort to different pump.

Have anyone of you Regina owners did this to their cars?
