960 vibration 900

I am at my wit's end in trying to cure a vibration while braking. I have replaced the front strut rod bushings, used a dial guage to check runout on all four disks, replaces ball joints, checked every bushing I can find on both front and back suspension parts and just put on 4 new BF Gooderich tires. The shaking only happens during braking and is getting worse with every repair I do. If I brake really hard it goes away and the strangest thing is it only happens once in a while not every time I brake. Any ideas will be welcomed, I am almost ready to sell this thing and buy a Beamer, I think this will be my last Volvo.
