Another Nice 1800 in St. Louis 1800

I know of only one other working P1800 here in the St. Louis area (Belonging to the prize-winner at the KC meet. Aside from that, there's the 1800 I bought from John - presently half disassembled in my garage. I known that there's one other Amazon and a two PVs around the area - though I've never seen any of these car "on the street."

Well, coming home today I noticed a completely out-of-place, very nice red P1800 with the early-style red-center hubcaps. It looked immaculate and probabaly all-original (juding by the low lustre of the paint). It was pretty cool, not unlike meeting someone you know on the other side of the planet.

I know you west and east coast types see these things everywhere, but here in the midwest old volvos are pretty rare, particulalry one just parked on the street, and especially within 2 miles of my southtown home.

I looked around for the owner but didn't see anyone, so I took off (not wanting to look like a salivating metal patient) and feeling a little self-concious in driving my wife's little toyota corolla.

If the owner is a BB member, please let me know, I'm parting out some of the my 1800E and am looking for someone local to take the windsheild before I accidenly break it.
