87 245 driver door is ripping away on the lower hinge 200

i have never seen this before on the 20 some 240's i have owned or someone in my family owned or friends have owned..i know what caused it ..total lack of lubrication...but that usually just breaks the little metal spring thingy that keeps your door from swinging back and wacking you when you're getting in or out...has anyone ever seen a door tear like this? can it be welded?it seems like very thin metal which is surprising considering how bullet proof and heavy the door is....thanks for reading this and for any feedback...Kris
