engine flushing for Turbo engine 900 1993

I have read so many happy owners who flushed/additives like auto-rx. The benefits the car feels lighter and swift. That brings me to my problem. Change engine synthetic mobil 1 every 5,000 miles. However, after 2 weeks, the dip stick measuring the oil level is black and sticky. the sticy part at the low end seems more like sludge. Instead of using auto-rx, I am thinking of using just mineral oil (as flushing) for 500 miles and change back to synthetic. Does this clear the sludge. An alternative, according to my mechanics is by removing the oil sumps for cleaning but requires change of new gasket. Please help to clear the sludge in the engine.
