Center U-joint rumble 444-544

Hi guys. Whenever I drive my '56 PV444, I can feel a distinct rumble in the vicinity of the center u-joint. I looked up under the car and noticed that the center u-joint was not loose/woobly. However, there's what I believe is a center support for the u-joint. It has two hangers with the prongs inserted through two rubber bushings. The rubber bushings appears to be excessively worn. Will these worn rubber bushings cause the driveshaft to "wobble" and cause the rumble? Just wondered if someone has had this problem before. Thanks for any response.

Patrick
