Where is your oxygen sensor? also what's the thread size? 200 1987

This is mostly out of curiosity. . .

I bought a replacement downpipe and catalytic converter from FCP Groton. They look the right size and well made, but something threw me off. I read in the descriptiong about the oxygen sensor. The new setup I bought has a total of three holes for the O2 sensor (with 2 plugs for those not used). There's one in the cat, one just upstream of the cat, and one about another 6 inches upstream of that. I finally opened my hood to double check, and mine's in the exhaust manifold.

In how many different places can it be located? Does anyone know the thread used on the O2 sensor so I can make a plug?
