Shaving b20 F head 120-130

Hi All

B20Fs were originally 8.7:1 CR and I am freshening one up. I know this has been discussed a number of times, but "search" doesn't seem to pull this up: What is a good ballpark figure to use to surface the "F" head to raise the CR to the mid 9's. I seem to recall the .040" (1mm) number bandied about.

Bore is stock and will remain so. This is really just a bread and butter motor, D cam, Dual outlet exhaust, 2.25" exhaust and Dynomax muffler.

Thanks in advance.

Mike
