I'm almost 90% sure these old wheels are not aluminum... either steel or an alloy of some kind of steel... too old to be aluminum. I was thinking sandblasting? Or if there's a cheaper way to smooth em out nicely to prep for a couple coates of primer. A few coates of colour and 2 coates of clear.
