240 turbo stalling

This is a '83 240T that I drive every day. Was running fine until this morning when it stalled after going a short distance. After that it started up fine, but kept stalling again. I was finally able to keep it running and limp it home. Had to get another ride to work. My weekend set for me now. Not looking forward to this as it looks to have number of potential causes and could take a while. Any recommendations on where best to start troubleshooting? Thanks.
