won't go over 30mph 940 turbo wagon 900 1991

Which hose is collapsing? The inlet to the turbo?

I take it you mean the rubber elbow from the air mass meter (AMM) next to the air filter box, down to the front end of the turbo compressor housing?

If that is the case, yeah, as suggested, clean out the air box, or if that can't fix it you'll have to replace that hose.

Try running it with the AMM unclipped from the airbox but still clamped to the rubber hose- that would help troubleshoot it.

Sounds like it's starving for air.

This kind of thing happens to the comparable hose (big hose to throttle body) on the NA cars as well.
