Issues with aftermarket exh. manifold to downpipe gasket 200

Over the years, out of desparation, I have tried using aftermarket mani flange gaskets. Each and every time I have done this, I have had an exhaust leak within a week as the gasket just puked. Granted, the factory / dealer gaskets cost $9+ a pop but I have never had one fail.

Has anyone else experienced this, or have I just not figured out how to "use" and not abuse the aftermarket parts?

Thanks,
Jorrell
