Transplant 120-130 1966

After clunking around in my 122s with a BW35 (0-60 in less than an hour). I am considering a tranny transplant to a four speed. Is there any particular advise you can give on the quirks or part that I should look for or spares I should snag off the donor car to have all needed parts? I assume the pedal assembly, the steering comumn, tranny & drive shaft
Is there any thing else I should round up? I can't help but believe this would be a change for the better.
