Last night while waiting for my wife at the train station, the engine in my 240 was idling pretty smoothly and then all of a sudden the idle climbed to about 1200 rpm, just as if I jabbed the accelerator. It did that a couple of times in the few minutes that I was waiting, and then stopped and didn't do it on the ride home or in the driveway. Any thoughts on what could be the problem?
