Question on the stereo amplifiers under the steering column 700 1990

The most common problem with all the different amps is intermittant loss of one of the cannels due to bad solder connections inside. This is common to almost everything electronic in a Volvo.

Did you connect the power-up wire that runs through the DIN cable? It is needed to turn the amp on and off. If you are using an OEM Volvo radio, this question doesn't apply. Making sure that the ground is connected applies to all.
