Question on turbo hose connector - Garrett turbo 700

I have a question about the valve/connection near the #1 plug on the turbo hose - where the hose from the 'Y' connector ends up.
Does it clog pretty often/easily? I have cleaned out all the other hoses, but this piece looks to be integral with the hose itself. Not quite ready to buy a new hose.
Ideas, opinions?
