intercooler and electric fan i.e. no clutch fan…

My understanding was that these were produced between 1992 and 1995.

Were any produced with the Garret turbo or only with Mitsubushi?

I want to put the larger rad and intercooler into my 1988 red '85 block 765 M46 but the hose arrangement from the intercooler is different.
