71' 145 strange problems... 140-160

I talked to Jason earlier tonight, so he's going to try out installing the fuel pump differently. He also stuck in his old one, and that wouldn't work either. I'm guessing the arm sticking out of the pump may be on the wrong side of the cam? I can't remember fiddling with these pumps, so I can't remember how they go on. Is it possible to have the arm above the cam when it's supposed to be below? Or vice versa?
