Diesel Motor Swap question, and add this..

to the list from Rule 308 -

The diesel engine is heavier than the gas engine, so a converted car will ride high in front unless the springs are swapped, too.

However, those stiffer springs are, I hear, just right for a car with a small block V8 engine installed.

Given the size of the list for conversion, why not just send the whole 245, diesel and all, to Converse up in New England and have a V8 put in?

Regards,

Bob
