dashboard light out.

I had one burn out recently. You may be able to reach up behind the dash to get at them, if you have really long arms, but it's probably easier to pull the cluster out.

Turn the steering wheel straight, then remove the headlight and dimmer knob (just pull). Remove the blank gauge panels to the right of the cluster- little plastic fingers go into the dash, and they're at the bottom of the top panel and the top of the lower one. A small thin screwdriver will pop these right out.

Remove the cover plate with the foglight switch in it on the left side. You can unplug the switch or let it hang.

Two screws, probably Torx heads on your 90, on each side of the cluster. Left side has a reinforcing bracket too.

Cluster should slide right out to you and you can probably angle it a little to reach behind it from the left side. The bulbs are in plastic holders near the top, and there are two of them. They unscrew a quarter turn and fall out.

Here's the bad news: you replace the whole unit with the holder and they're NOT cheap from Volvo- $8 or $9 if I recall. You can see if the filaments are bad in them, or test with any ohmmeter. Open circuit = bad. If you can pick up a spare cluster, even one with bad instruments from the junkyard, you may be able to get them cheaper. If you touch the bulbs, wipe them clean before installing.

Good luck with it!
