Window repaired, thanks! Couple questions... 200 1984

Thanks to all you guys who helped me get my driver's-side power window back in it's track. I now will forever have ingrained in my mind how a door panel comes off. A couple quick questions:

1) The paper vapor barrier is pretty old and dry, but is fairly complete. Is this a critical item to replace asap? Can they be bought from FCP or our local Euro parts store/Volvo dealership?

2) I noticed that the lifting track the window sits in doesn't grab it super tight...and am wondering if the tight lower window seals will, over time, pull it out again due to the friction with repeated lowerings. Can the track be crimped a little? Dare I say epoxied? Any insights appreciated as always. Have a nice evening.
