88 245 hard to start, then fine

Yesterday after sitting for a week, my '88 245 took 2 tries to start -- never does that. THen engine died after about 10 miles. Was almost ready to call the tow but it started. Drove 15 more and stopped to eat. Wouldn't start. Almost gave up when it started. Drove 30 miles home. This morning (cold) wouldn't start. Left alone all day. Started 1st try this afternoon but
afraid to drive it anywhere.

Fuel pump relay? Pump in tank? Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
