...and another reason for short shifter 120-130

I think ol' repairman jack resides in a colder climate. You go to the short shifter tunnel mod and you give up the heat bladder to to the rear. Maybe no big deal if it's just you in the car, and if it's a wagon and the rear seat's mostly not used (transportation of all manner of materials in the back) that may tend to keep your heat in the front anyway, but I have a sedan and it's one of the reasons I've held off on putting in a short shift setup.
