Sorry your having so much trouble with this Jason. Give me a call this weekend, I'll try walkin' you through it again. When I drove the Marlin home, knowing the tank what icky, I ran a longer fuel line from the fuel pump to a remote tank, thereby by-passing the fuel tank. Since there was plenty of room under the hood and in front of the radiator, that is where the 1 1/2 gallon temp-tank sat. That was my "tank" as I drove it to the lock place, exhaust shop (not far), and re-built the fuel tank (V-8 so had to fill it a couple of times). This is one way you can check the 2nd gear issue, while driving the car, without being concerned about whatever you have (or not) going on inside your tank. Lee taught me this one, and I've used it MANY times. ;-)
