Don't worry none about the 25A fuse. That's just a 240 owner's joke. You gotta have the weird 240 sense of humor to appreciate it.

The fender has gotten used to your attention, assuming it is the driver's side fender, it needs more sweet love. Be sure to use a cover. The "rewire" of the harness sounds like a slick professional job not. Could be. But doesn't sound that way the way you say it. Check carefully the pins on the AMM plug.
